Red Ribbon Week Inspired Our Kids To Be Drug-Free!

The Will County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (WCSAPC) joined communities nationwide in celebrating Red Ribbon Week (10/23–10/31), the nation’s largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign.
Students at Homer Jr. High School and Hadley Middle School in Homer Glen shared heartfelt reasons why they choose to remain drug-free. Each student wrote their message on a red ribbon as part of the week’s activities — expressing pride, hope, and commitment to living healthy, drug-free lives.
These inspiring ribbons are now proudly displayed at the Will County Sheriff’s Office, serving as a visual reminder of our community’s dedication to prevention and positive choices.

Thank you to all the students, families, educators, and partners who made Red Ribbon Week 2025 a success! Together, we’re keeping Will County kids healthy, safe, and drug-free.
