Do you have the facts about underage drinking? Regardless of what you’ve heard or what you believe, most Illinois youth report that underage drinking isn’t cool.

While the same report doesn’t indicate why teens feel this way, here are a few key facts that may explain:

• Alcohol puts the safety of those who drink—as well as those around them—at risk.
• Underage drinking can slow brain development.
• Be confident in the facts and the authentic person you are without alcohol.
