Coalitions within the Illinois Prevention Network (IPN) Presentation

Coalitions within the Illinois Prevention Network (IPN), a statewide network of local coalitions in Illinois focused on preventing and mitigating substance use and its root causes, collaborated once again to present at the Connections in Prevention conference, hosted by Prevention First.

The session focused on how IPN uses the Collective Impact Model to effectively work together to improve outcomes. Presenters focused on three main components of the collaboration: advocacy, shared materials/education, and backbone support of one another within IPN. Presenters then engaged the attendees in discussion on some of their ideas and how their coalitions/organizations could be a part of the network.
