Red Ribbon Week Inspires Our Kids To Be Drug Free!

Red Ribbon Week

Join us this week 10/23-10/31 in our MISSION to help keep kids drug-free.

Red ribbon week is the nation’s largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. Last week the WCSAPC had the students at Homer Jr. High School write on red ribbons why they choose to remain drug free. The ribbons are now placed in the Will County Sheriff Office.

Too Good for Drugs Curriculum and Educational Events

Here at the Will County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition we are educating the youth in our community by teaching the Too Good for Drugs curriculum in numerous schools as well as holding other educational events for the children.

We are also showing the adults in our community hiding places for drugs and alcohol in a teen’s bedroom with the utilization of our HIPS trailer as well as educating them on where they can go for resources and help if needed.
